T h e T o t e m
In 2017, I could realize the project "Sculptures at the trail around Speicher", together with other wood carvers and the support of a local bank, local district councils and forest wardens. In about 330 hours, I carved the Totem, towering to a height of 6 meters and put 1 meter into a concrete tube into the ground.

Where I got the inspiration from
During a long trip all over the Trans-Canadian Highway in 2012, I took many pictures of totems in British Columbia, others I found with Google.
Carving my T o t e m
On our walks during wintertime we often look for The Totem. The oak wood changed into grey within the years.
